Allison, CVT, Veterinary Technician
Allison always knew that she wanted to work with and help care for animals ever since she was a little girl, growing up on the outskirts of Buffalo, MN with her parents, two brothers and a wide variety of pets. It wasn’t until High School that she learned about the many different job opportunities available that involve working with animals. In 2011 she graduated with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN. After graduation she worked at a veterinary clinic west of the metro-area for 4 years before joining the team here at Oakwood Pet Clinic, in the Spring of 2016 and has been enjoying the relationships built with owners and their pets.
Allison currently resides in a small town about an hour west of the metro-area where she and her husband are busy raising two young boys and an enthusiastic German Wirehair Pointer, Kent. She loves spending her spare time with her family and dog. Both Allison and her husband enjoy the outdoors and are glad that they can share their passion for nature with the kids. As a family they enjoy playing outside, going for walks, camping, hunting and fishing, along with all the other fun activities the outdoors has to offer.
